Why do we need to recycle

We recycle because plastic bags can end up on the beach and kill sea animals like baby turtles and birds. Some of  the rubbish goes into landfills, we need to keep New Zealand clean because if we don’t we can make the environment  bad. When plastic bags are on the beach   turtles can go inside of the plastic  bag and then they die  because they eat the plastic bags and then they get sick. So that is why it is important to recycle.
